Antiterrorism Analyst

 

Position will develop, plan, coordinate, and conduct instillation-level antiterrorism (AT) exercises and program reviews for all US Military installations. Manage scheduling, perform higher headquarters assessments, and conduct program reviews for all service components and installations. Supply analytical support for the development of policies, implementation plans, and the strategies required to execute Joint Staff antiterrorism programs. Coordinate AT program efforts with staffs, adjacent or higher headquarters, and non-DoD stakeholders. Manage command AT vulnerabilities and mitigation efforts by using the Core Vulnerability Assessment Management Program (CVAMP). Execution of these tasks requires a high level of skill, knowledge, and awareness of DoD, Department of the Army, and other antiterrorism policies. Also acquire the ability to share information rapidly with higher, subordinate, and parallel levels of command.


Performs tasks requiring program planning, audits, and evaluations related to large scale programs.  Tasks may include supporting program analysis, strategic planning, integrated master scheduling, event planning, Congressional Affairs, metrics, financial management systems, and risk management.  BA/BS degree with minimum three (3) years of experience. 

Program Analyst - Junior


Performs tasks requiring program planning, audits, and evaluations related to large scale programs.  Tasks may include supporting program analysis, strategic planning, integrated master scheduling, event planning, Congressional Affairs, metrics, financial management systems, and risk management.  BA/BS degree with minimum eight (8) years of experience.

Program Analyst - Senior


Perform contract on-site task lead functions. Drafts and maintains currency of SOF SIGREDUX policies, reviews SOF Signature Reduction Programs and/or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or other regulatory documents to ensure the SOF community complies with U.S. law and Department of Defense (DOD) polices and regulations.  Operates all SIGREDUX automation systems and assists with periodic command inspections of subordinate units led by associated Inspector General's Office for SIGREDUX related programs. Conducts quality control and performs and disseminates due diligence procedures of component command's SIGREDUX plans, requirements, related amending/supporting documents, policy directives/supporting documents, instructions and other correspondence.  Utilizes network of liaison contacts and operates national intelligence databases and reporting systems to maintain acute awareness of the security situations in countries where SOF is deployed or will deploy.

Signature Reduction Specialist


Serves as the Program Manager for a signature reduction program. Responsible for maintaining a signature reduction and operational security (OPSEC) program for personnel. Under minimal supervision with little guidance, employee must exercise personal judgment, initiative and resourcefulness in interpreting and applying existing guidelines and/or creating new policies and guidelines for personnel. Reports to Commander on all program developments but is delegated complete authority to carry out major projects within the framework of agreed upon objectives and deadlines. Obtains oral/written permission from higher headquarters, to deviate from established policy guidance. As the recognized subject matter expert in areas of responsibility, provides findings or recommendations regarding the program to the Commander for decision. Findings and recommendations are required to pass critical review by higher headquarters project specialists and staff and highly controversial recommendations are discussed with Commander prior to finalization.              

Required qualifications:

  • Incumbent must obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance w/SCI
  • Incumbent subject to initial/entry testing and random drug testing. Will be subject to periodic and random urinalysis drug testing as required Detection of drug usage through confirmed positive urinalysis test results may be cause for a determination that the incumbent has failed to satisfy the conditions necessary for continued employment in this position.
  • Position subject to Psychological Testing.
  • Incumbent may travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Incumbent may be required to take an initial and periodic counterintelligence scope polygraph examination.
